13-year-old boy found abandoned at Rly Station

JAMMU, Oct 28: A 13-year-old boy was found abandoned by Child Welfare Committee, Jammu from Railway Station Jammu.
“The boy was found roaming by Child Welfare Committee, Jammu on October 11, 2019,” a spokesperson of Railway Police said. He said on questioning, the boy divulged that about 5 years back, a cobbler namely Roshan of Maratha Mohalla, Jammu took him from Railway Station Jammu with him but after about 2 years, he fled from there and since then he is roaming here and there.
The spokesperson said that the boy disclosed his name as Abhishek alias Rahul but he could not divulged details about his parents or residence. He said on his disclosure, Railway Police has registered a case against relevant sections against the accused Roshan and arrested him.
