1300 PRIs from Kashmir to attend PM rally

Srinagar, Apr 23: Public representatives from Kashmir have left for Samba to attend the Panchayati Raj Diwas meeting on eve of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on April 24.
As per details, the public representatives are being taken to the venue under fool-proof security, However, it has also been revealed that around 2200 PRIs were set to attend the meeting. However, only 1300 PRIs have so far left for the venue, making the participation of the rest doubtful.
As per the schedule, the public representatives will interact and attend the Panchayati Raj Diwas meeting which is aimed at evaluating the different developmental works, under the aegis of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The PM is also scheduled to participate in the ground-breaking ceremony of multi-crore industrial projects and will launch industrial investments, and inaugurate and lay the foundation stones of various public welfare schemes.
In this regard, elaborate arrangements have been made at border village Palli in Samba district, where the Prime Minister is scheduled to address a public gathering.
