KATHUA, June 24: A team of Anti Polythene Check Post Lakhanpur led by Rajnish Bhagat Forester, in charge Check Post, Arun Bhatti I/c Forester and Pardeep Singh and Salim Malik forest guards, seized 1350 kgs of polythene at Lakhanpur today.
The forest officials on duty at the Check Post stopped a Mahindra pick up bearing Registration Number PB35Q/8755 coming from Pathankot, towards Jammu.
On physical checking it was found to be loaded with 54 Nags/1350 kgs of banned polythene carry bags. The vehicle along with banned polythene carry bags loaded therein was thus seized. The whole operation was carried out under the close supervision of Rahul Singh, DFO Kathua.
