BARAMULLA, Aug 26: In order to ensure regular attendance of employees in various Government offices, Additional District Development Commissioner Baramulla accompanied by Tehsildar Baramulla today inspected various offices including Youth Services and Sports, District Industries Centre, Zonal Education Office Baramulla, and Assistant Labour Commissioner Office.
During the inspection, ADDC found 14 officials in these offices unauthorizedly absent from their duties. Taking a serious note of it, Deputy Commissioner Baramulla placed all the 14 employees under suspension and emphasized that such inspections will be conducted on routine basis to curtail the menace of absenteeism in Government offices.
