14 students, teacher injured in Ganderbal mishap

Srinagar, July 3: At least 14 students and a teacher were injured in road mishap in Ganderbal district of Central Kashmir after an excursion bus skidded off the road today.
The school excursion bus bearing registration number JK15-5460 of Government Middle School Pathkoot Bandipora, carrying students and staff of the school for a picnic skidded off the road near Repora-Lar area in Ganderbal this evening.
The mishap occurred when they were returning from Sonamarg. The injured were referred to Ganderbal hospital for treatment. Three of them have been referred to SKIMS Soura. Police have registered a case and are investigating the cause of mishap.
They injured have been and identified as Parveena Bano, 12, daughter of Jameel Ahmad, Tasleema, 12, Arizoo, 16, Naseema Bano, 13, Aabida, 12, Nasreena, 11, Jameen, 13, Mehnaaz, 14, Kulsooma, 13, Shubeena, 14, Zafreena, 15, Saima, 11, Sabeena, 13, Samreena, 9, and a teacher Mohammad Yousuf Chopan, son Mohammad Abdullah, all residents of Bandipora.
