JAMMU, Mar 26: Police seized 14 vehicles which were found involved in illegal mining.
As per police sources, continuing its drive against illegal mining, teams of Police Station Khour led by SHO Inspector Balvinder Singh, Police Station Jhajjar Kotli led by Inspector Rajesh Khajuria, Police Station Janipur led by SHO Inspector Nayat Ali and Police Post Jogwan during checking at different locations seized 14 different vehicles involved in illegal mining. The seized vehicles include 5 dumpers, 6 tippers and 3 tractor trolleys.
The mining was done in violation of order of High Court of J&K.
In order to strictly implement the drive against illegal mining and to tighten noose against the violators of the law, Jammu Police has initiated strict action.
