RAJOURI, Jan 1: A team of Forest Department officials from Rajouri Division today organised an operation in Gambhir block and retrieved nearly 147 kanals of land and also dismantled five structures.
Official sources said that the team led by Range Oficer Khan Baz and Insp FPF Jameel Choudhary under the supervision of DFO Rajouri Anup Kumar Soni cleared 80 kanal of land grabbed by one Gul Hussain at Kakora, 30 kanal from the possession of Mod Amin at the same village,30 kanal from Lal Hussain of Doodasan Balla and 7 kanal from Abdul Ghani of Kakora. A total five structures were also smashed by the team. Conservator of Forests, West Circle Sameer Bharti supervised the entire operation.
