UDHAMPUR, Dec 12: Team of Police Post Roundomail foiled one bovine smuggling bid and rescued 15 bovines.
These bovines were being smuggled in a vehicle bearing registration number JK14B-1095, which was intercepted at Roundomail naka point. Driver of the vehicle fled away from the spot after leaving behind his vehicle on the road.
All the 15 bovines were rescued and shifted to a safer place while the vehicle was seized.
In this regard, a case FIR No. 497/2024 U/S 223 (a) BNS 11 PCA, 184 M.V Act has been registered in Police Station Udhampur.
