15-day induction training camp for NYVs concludes

RAJOURI, Aug  30: Organized by Nehru Yuva Kendra, Poonch, a 15-day long induction training camp for National Youth Volunteers (NYVs) from Poonch district concluded at Krishi Vigyan Kendra (KVK), Rajouri.
In the valedictory function, Kuldeep Raj Gupta (MoS) was the chief guest. Interacting with the volunteers, Kuldeep Raj Gupta stressed upon the need of percolating the programmes and policies of the Government to the gross root level so that dream of making India as the developed nation could be realized very soon.
Gupta claimed that maintaining peace, harmony and brotherhood in the society is also the major agenda that National Youth Volunteers needs to execute.
Giving information regarding the training camp, District Officer, NYK Rajouri and Poonch, Reyaz Mir stated that 15-day training programme was aimed at inculcating the spirit of social activism and to aware the volunteers regarding programmes, policies and the contemporaries issue that are of immense nature as per as cause of nation building is concerned.
Reyaz Mir further claimed that NYK Rajouri Poonch has planned to organize such camps with great zeal in near future too so that their aim of creating empowered nation through empowered youth could be realized.
Senior Scientist, KVK, Dr Arvind Sharma and social activist, Vikrant Sharma, also interacted with the volunteers during the programme. Besides, Deputy Commissioner Rajouri, Shahid Iqbal Choudhary and eminent resource persons also interacted with the volunteers during the 15-day long training camp.
