15 truck goods traded at LoC point

JAMMU, May 18: A total 15 trucks loaded with goods were exchanged at Chakkan-da-Bagh LoC point in Poonch today.
An official spokesman said that four trucks loaded with chilli, spinach and potatoes were sent by the traders to PoK from this side. The value of goods was put at around Rs 12.45 lakh. Eleven truck goods worth Rs 1.17 crore arrived here from PoK today. The items included almonds, dry dates, herbs and Pishori Chapple.
The border point was opened between 1 and 1.30 pm and then between 4.30 and 5 pm. Vivek Ravail from Indian side and Arshed Mehmood from Pakistan side were deployed as Trade Facilitation Officers.
