JAMMU, Mar 21: One hundred fifty farmers representing different sub divisions of Jammu district will be imparted training in various aspects of raising agriculture crops scientifically, growing of mushrooms and apiculture.
They will practically see the various on farm varietal trials and experiments being undertaken for Rabi crops.
These farmers were flagged off by Joint Director Agriculture (Extension), A K Malhotra from Krishi Bhawan here today.
Mr Malhotra also interacted with farmers on the occasion and informed that the training is being organized under ATMA scheme to update farmers about the recent adoptable agriculture techniques.
Joint Director Agriculture (Inputs), Susheel Sahni also interacted with farmers on the occasion.
District Agri Officer Extension Jammu, Vinod Ganjoo, Liaison Officer, B B Sidha, APO, S K Garyali and other officers were also present on the occasion.
