JAMMU, May 8: The 15th Admission Fair, India’s largest education fair began here today at Jehlum Resorts.
The fair was inaugurated by Lalit Mahajan, Chairman Federation of Industries Jammu and President BBIA in the presence of Ajay Langer, Convener Federation of Industries Jammu, General Secretary BBIA, Vivek Singhal Secretary BBIA, Viraaj Malhotra Treasurer BBIA, Bansi Lal Gupta Senior Vice President, AoI Gangyal and Pradeep Vaid, Secretary General Federation of Industries Jammu.
The admissions fair provided a unique platform for students to explore the right career options after class 12 and an opportunity to interact one to one interaction with college and university officials, all under one roof. Over 30 Universities and Colleges from Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Pune, Bangalore, Dehradun, Rajasthan and Gujarat have assembled to provide counselling and guidance to students on over 100 career options.
Some of the prominent participating institutions are Shiv Nadar University, SRM University, Amity University, Manav Rachna University, Mody University, Dayananda Sagar University, Doon Business School, Parul University, Vishwakarma Institute Pune, IFIM Bangalore, Acharya Bangalore B School, Krupanidhi Group of Institutions, Jaipur National University and many more.
Organized by AFAIRS Exhibitions and Media Private Limited, Asia’s leading education fair organizers, the event has something to offer to every student, from the average to the brilliant. The fair is being organized to serve as ‘time and cost effective’ platforms for parents and students to access multiple institutions ‘under one roof.’
Career guidance was available in large dose, in the form of a ‘Career Counseling Sessions’ by Prateek Bhargava, India’s leading Career Guidance Expert. Students of Prodigy Study Circle, Bahu Plaza attended the counselling session in huge numbers.
