16 batteries stolen from GHS Jatwal

SAMBA, Jan 3: Sixteen solar batteries were reported missing from Government High School, Jatwal in Ghagwal Sub-Division of Samba district.
As per reports when the School opened on Monday, 16 batteries of the solar system installed in the School were found missing. Head Master, Darshana Devi said that after reaching school this morning, she found 16 solar system batteries were missing. She said that, the holidays started on December 24 and the battery was there on that day. So it is not known when the theft took place. She has lodged a complaint in Ghagwal Police Station.
It is worth mentioning that before this theft at Nonath Devasthan in Raghuchak village and in one of the Kirana shops at Randhawal village the burglaries took place. When contacted the senior police officers assured to get the investigation done soon.
