UDHAMPUR, Dec 22: Police today rescued 16 bovine animals, which were being smuggled to Kashmir.
The truck, carrying bovine animals, was intercepted on the National Highway, near Jakhani. Police rescued the animals and seized the truck besides arresting its driver namely Mohammed Ashraf of Jornu Anantnag Kashmir and his associate Nur Ilahi of Talab Tillo Jammu.
In this connection, a case was registered.
