JAMMU, Sept 28: Nagrota Police rescued 16 bovine animals and seized a vehicle.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Nagrota led by SHO Inspector Vishav Pratap Singh under the supervisions of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing registration number JK02CQ-9787.
During checking, police team rescued 16 bovines from the vehicle and arrested the driver.
A case under FIR Number 346/2022 under sections 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act and 50/52/54/56 Transport of Animal Rule Act 1978 Act has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
