UDHAMPUR, Dec 16: Sixteen CRPF jawans of 90 Battalion were injured when a bus, they were traveling in skidded off the road and turned turtle on the National Highway, near Samroli in Chenani, late last night.
According to the reports, the CRPF bus bearing registration number MH40-3794, was on way from Kashmir to Jammu when it met with an accident while overtaking a truck around 12:30 AM, last night.
The injured were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur and their condition was stated to be stable.
The injured CRPF jawans were identified as Roop Singh (52), son of Dan Singh of UP, Rajveer Rathor (25) son of Ram Rathor of MP, Rajesh Kumar (34) son of Thakur Dass of HP, Rakesh Paspull (27) son of Anmpul Paspull of Uttra Khand, Anil Kumar (36) son of Abha Ram of Haryana, Basudev Sharma (40) son of Devi Dyal Sharma of Haryana, Surinder Singh (52) son of Huga Ram of Delhi, Pritam Kumar Singh (41) son of Alkesh Singh of Bihar, Rashpul Singh (51) son of Jaswant Singh of Punjab, Krishan Kumar (48) son of Rukha Ram of Rajasthan, Dhara Singh (53) son of Jeet Singh of Rajasthan, Manjeet Kumar (37) son of Baollu Ram of Haryana, Ankim Singh (27) son of Jila Singh of Haryana, Jeevan Singh (48) son of Amba Ram of Madhya Pradesh, Joog Raj (41) son of Kartar of Haryana and Dhakna Sanjay (30) son of Suksive of Maharashtra.
