REASI, Sept 11: Sixteen persons were injured when the mini-bus they were traveling in rolled down near Kakrayal area of Katra, here today.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK02AE-8937 was on its way to Sool from Domail, when the driver lost control over the mini-bus and it rolled down into gorge near Kakrayal area of Katra.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation.
All the injured persons were shifted to Narayana Hospital for treatment.
The injured were identified as Seema, Bansi Lal, Radha Kotwal, Priya Sharma, Seti Badyal, Veena Devi, Kirti Badyal, Saleem, Anju Devi, Vakil Chand, Anu Devi, Beali Sharma, Vashanu Devi, Mohammad Akram, Rattan Lal and Shalu Devi.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Katra Police Station and investigation started.
