KATRA, Mar 11: Police busted a gang of mobile phone thieves at Mata Vaishno Devi Bhawan and seized 16 stolen mobiles besides arresting two accused in this connection.
The arrested accused were identified as Shashi Sharma son of Bushan Kumar of Katra and Ankush Sharma son of Kartar Chand of Katra. Sixteen stolen mobile phones have been recovered from their possession.
A case FIR number 01/2020 U/S 379/IPC, was already registered in this connection following theft of a mobile phone. The professional investigations by Bhawan Police led to recovered of 15 more stolen mobile phones and arrest of the accused persons.
