JAMMU, Oct 25: Nagrota Police rescued 17 bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Police Station Nagrota laid a naka and intercepted a vehicle bearing Registration Number JK02AQ-5369.
During checking, police team rescued 17 bovine animals and seized the vehicle.
A case FIR Number 373/2022 under Sections 188 IPC, 11 PCA Act and 50/52/54/56 Transport of Animal Rule Act 1978 has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and investigation started.
Police team led by SHO Nagrota Inspector Vishav Partap Singh rescued the bovines under the supervisions of SDPO Nagrota Pardeep Kumar.
