JAMMU, Aug 19: The 17th basic resuscitation course was held today in Government Medical College Jammu where 35 candidates were successfully trained.
This course is now going to be called as “Basic Life Support (BLS)” course as it is being imparted by AHA accredited fully trained faculty members as per international norms and standard.
It has been specifically designed as to equip the training with the latest protocol, skills, and insights required to succeed in the goal which is saving human lives in critical time. With experienced instructors, practical hands-on learning, and cutting-edge resources, this course has and going to consistently delivered value to participants.
To mark this momentous occasion, a felicitation event was held today with professor Ashutosh Gupta (Principal and Dean, GMC Jammu) as chief guest. In his speech, Dr Ashutosh Gupta laid emphasis on the importance of this course for one and all healthcare workers and he wholeheartedly assured his full support to this event.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr Anju Gupta (HoD Anesthesia and chairperson for this course) expressed heartfelt gratitude to chief guest, all students, instructors and partners who have contributed to the success of the course.
Dr Abdul Ghani (Professor and HoU, Department of Orthopedics and convener of this course) assured that he will remain committed to maintaining the high standards that have defined the course.
Dr Renu Wakhloo (nodal officer for the course) presented vote of thanks.
