18 contesting Bar elections

JAMMU, Apr 6: Eighteen candidates are in fray for election to various posts of Jammu and Kashmir High Court Bar Association to be held on April 12.
According to the Returning Officer Abhinav Sharma, four candidates have filed nomination papers for the post of President. They are Senior Advocate BS Salathia, Advocate Kuldeep Singh Parihar, Advocate SK Shukla and Advocate Sheikh Shakeel Ahmed.
For the post of Vice President, 6 candidates are in race and they are Advocates Ajay Gandotra, Ajay Singh Kotwal, Deewakar Sharma, JP Nanda, Sachin Gupta and Yaseer Ejaz Tak. For the post of General Secretary, three candidates have filed nomination papers. They are Advocates Abisekh Wazir, Prem Sadotra and Vinod Saini.
For the post of Joint Secretary, 3 candidates are in fray. They are Advocates Aditya Sharma. Himanshu Sharma and Shrishti Pal Mengi while as for the posts of Cashier Advocates Chetan Misri and Jasleen Kour are in fray.
