Srinagar, May 22: The Forest Department has promoted 18 senior Foresters as in-charge Range Officers and posted them in various forest ranges of the State along with 4 other In-charge Range Officers.
According to the order, Farooq Ahmad Mir, Forester (Lidder Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, SC Range Kulgam Range (Special Forest Division Kulgam) against an available vacancy.
Shafat Ahmad Anayati, Forester (U.F. Division Srinagar) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Agrostology Range Baramulla against an available vacancy.
Abdul Rahim Sheikh, Forester (Lidder Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Demarcation Division Srinagar against an available vacancy.
Mohammad Sultan Lone, Forester (Langate Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Kehmil Range (SC & FC Division Pohru).
Mohammad Abdullah Sheikh, Forester (Sindh Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Agrostology Range Anantnag.
Ghulam Rasool Shaksaz, Forester (Lidder Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, SC Vijay Dakil Range (Langate Forest Division) against an available vacancy.
Zahoor Ali Khan, Forester (Kehmil Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Keran Range (Kehmil Forest U.F. Division) against an available vacancy.
Bashir Ahmad Dar, Forester (Tangmarg Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Special Range Sopore (Kamraj Forest Division). He will relieve Ghulam Ahmad Mir, Range Officer on his superannuation on 30.06.2013.
Ghulam Rasool Dar, Forester (Lidder Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Incharge Range Officer, Agrostology Range Kugam against an available vacancy.
Mehndi Ali, Forester (Leh Forest Division) is placed as Incharge Range Officer and will report to DFO Leh Forest Division. His posting orders will be issued separately.

Abdul Majid Lone, Range Officer, Kupwara Range (Kamraj Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Range Officer, Doabgah Range (J.V. Forest Division) against an available vacancy.
Abdul Rashid Khan, Range Officer, Tral Range (Lidder Forest Division) is transferred and posted as Range Officer, Kulgam Range (Special Forest Division Kulgam) vice Mohammad Ashraf Malik, Incharge Range Officer
Maximum of the transfers were made against available vacancies of different ranges. “We are happy to see the promotions of the genuine and meritorious senior foresters,” said Malik Feroz Bhat, president of the association.
The selected aspirants thanked the Minister of Forests, Main Altaf Ahmad, Principal Chief Conservator Forests, Chief Conservator Forests Kashmir, Nisar Ahmad (IFS), Mohammad Latif (KAS) and other officers.
