18 injured as passenger bus turns turtle due to overspeeding

RAJOURI, Dec 27: Two children and seven women among 18 persons were injured when a passenger bus turned turtle at Naili sector in Manjakot, this morning.
The bus, bearing registration number JK02BL- 1547, was on way from Poonch to Jammu when it skidded off the road and overturned due to over speeding. Local and Police rushed to the spot and shifted the injured to Manjakot hospital.
The accident took place around 11.45 a.m and according to the victims, the bus was over speeding due to which driver lost control over the vehicle resulting into the mishap.
The injured were identified as Haji Mohd Maroof of Dabrote, Deep Kumar of Kathua, Nahida Kausar daughter of Mohd Iqbal of Manjakot, Abdi Hussain of Bhara, Mohd Kabir of Galota, Manisha Begum wife of Sajid Hussain of Saaj, Rubina Kousar wife of Mohd Jamil of Sangyot, her five-year old son Mohd Sanu, Tabassum wife of Awaisi of Dheri Dhara, Safina Kousar, daughter of Mohd Bashir of Jamola, Mohd Shakeel of Rajdhani, Joti Devi, wife of Pushkar Raj of Poonch, her six-year old son Aditya, Rita Devi, wife of Kuldeep Raj of Patrara, Sajid Ahmad of Saaj, Pahalwan Shah of Gursai, Joginder Singh of Bakshi Nagar and Mohd Sajid of Gandhi Nagar.
