SRINAGAR, Feb 6: Eighteen persons were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a Tata Mobile JK05/6272 hit and injured a pedestrian Bashir Ahmad Khan aged 46 years, son of Abdul Gaffar resident of Lalad-Sopore near Lalad Crossing. The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital, Sopore, where from he was referred to SKIMS-Soura, for further treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Xylo JK04B/8479 skidded off the road and fell in a gorge near Ichkote-Budgam, resulting in injuries to driver Niyaz Ahmad Dar, son of Hassan Dar resident of Arigam and three passengers traveling in the vehicle. All the injured were shifted to District Hospital Budgam, for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Tata Sumo JK03B/3458 driven by Mushtaq Ahmad Bhat, resident of Khull turned turtle near Dimipora, Damhal Hanjipora-Kulgam, resulting in injuries to the driver of the vehicle and nine passengers travelling in the vehicle. All the injured were shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
A Truck JK09/0399 collided with a Tata Sumo JK05B/4637 at Shadipora Crossing, Sumbal-Bandipora, resulting in injuries to three passengers traveling in the Tata Sumo Gulzar Ahmad Guroo, son of Abdul Raheem, Gulzar Ahmad, son of Mohammad Sultan residents of Maninara-Sumbal and Manzoor Ahmad Dar, son of Mohammad Rajab resident of chack Ganestan-Sumbal. All the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment. A case has been registered in this regard.
