18 passengers injured in road mishap

KATHUA, Nov 13: Eighteen passengers were injured eight of them seriously after a bus on its way from holy township of Katra in Reasi district to New Delhi skidded off the road and rolled down into a gorge on Jammu -Pathankote National Highway at Gagwal area in Kathua district late last night, police said,
It said among 18 injured people who were on Vaishno Devi pilgrimage eight were critically injured. They were shifted to GMC Jammu for treatment while 10 passengers who have received minor injuries were admitted in Ghagwal Hospital.
The Ghagwal police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
