18 shelter sheds handed over to flood affected families

Reasi, Jan 5: District administration Reasi is committed to ensure proper rehabilitation of flood affected families in the district as per Government’s relief and rehabilitation policy.
This was stated by District Development Commissioner (DDC)  Reasi Shabir Ahmad Bhatt today while handing over 18 temporary shelters sheds among flood affected families of the Seri and Mansoo village.
These shelter sheds have been constructed by district administration through R&B Department Reasi Division in a record period of 20 days at a cost of Rs. 3.50 lakh each.
DDC Reasi assured that no flood affected family will be allowed to suffer especially during the winter season and the affected 419 house-less  families have been provided a relief of Rs. 2 crore and rent charges for three months have already been transferred to the accounts of house-less.
A total rent amount of Rs. 24.06 lakh have so far been transferred to the accounts of house-less flood victims as rental charges.
