UDHAMPUR, Sept 21: An 18-year-old boy committed self immolation at Air Force Station, Udhampur.
The deceased, namely Akiv Khan, son of Mohd Khan of Bagpat UP, presently putting up at Air Force Station Udhampur, set himself ablaze last night after sprinkling kerosene oil on his body.
With critical burn injuries, he was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead.
Cause behind the extreme step could not be ascertained while Police has registered the case for further investigation.
