UDHAMPUR, Dec 8: Ten women and a child among 19 Baratis were injured when a minibus, carrying them, met with an accident near Ramnagar Railway Station, about 10 kms from the Udhampur town, late last night.
The minibus was on its way from Kagote Ramnagar to Dinga Amb Dyalachak in district Kathua when it skidded off the road and turned turtle.
The injured were rushed to District Hospital Udhampur where four of them were referred to GMC Hospital Jammu in view of their critical condition. They were identified as driver of the minibus, Yashpaul Sharma (34) son of Hans Raj Sharma of Sair Manzela, Nita Devi (37), wife of Ashok Kumar of Barta, Nisha Devi wife of Sanjay and Anju Devi wife of Vijay Kumar of village Kagote.
Other injured were Babli Devi wife of Uttam Chand (age 30 years), Kuldeep Kumar son of Ram Lal (age 32 years), Rakesh Sharma son of Lal Chand (age 40 years), Suresh Kumar (40) son of Duni Chand , Anu Radha (25) wife of Kuldeep Kumar years, Ram Lal (55), son of Duni Chand, Vijay Kumar (35), son of Krishan Chand, Baldev Singh (38), son of Shatter Singh, Bimla Devi (40) wife of Rattan, Bimla Devi (40), wife of Suresh Kumar, Guddi Devi (30), wife of Suriender Kumar, Sunita Devi (32), wife of Suresh Kumar, Sahil Singh (11) son of Baldev Singh, Thakur Dass (65) son of Amru and Anuradha (35), wife of Rakesh Sharma.
All are resident of village Kagote, Ramnagar and their condition was stated to be stable.
