KATRA, Sept 30: Katra Police today foiled an attempt of bovine smuggling and rescued 19 bovine animals.
These bovine animals were being smuggled in LP vehicle bearing registration number JK14B-7099, which was intercepted at naka point Balni and also seized. However, driver of the vehicle managed to escape from the spot.
In this connection, a case FIR number 223/2019, under section 188 RPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at Police Station Katra. SHO Katra Inspr Pardeep Gupta, seized the vehicle under the supervision of ASP Katra, Naresh Singh.
