RAJOURI, July 31: The police seized a vehicle loaded with 19 bovine animals being smuggled to Kashmir in Thannamandi area late this evening and arrested its driver.
Official sources said that police party from Thannamandi led by SHO, Showkat Hussain during naka intercepted a vehicle (Junga) bearing Regd. No.JK11C-3972 driven by one Abdul Rashid, son of Abdul Rahim, resident of Dodasan Bala moving towards Kashmir valley which was found to be loaded with 19 bovine animals without DM’s permission.
The police seized the vehicle and arrested its driver. All the bovine animals were rescued. A case FIR No.109/2022 U/S 188/IPC 11/PCA Act has been registered at Police Station, Thanamandi.
