MENDHAR, Sept 24: Sub Divisional Magistrate (SDM) Mendhar Sher Singh, assisted by Tehsildar, SHO and TSO Mendhar today conducted surprise checking and imposed a heavy fine on the traders and way side vendors in the town here today.
The team during market checking imposed fine of Rs 6600 on 19 defaulters and also destroyed rotten vegetables and fruits and unhygienic sweets and meat on the spot. They issued warning to the traders to keep cleanliness and not to indulge in overcharging from customers.
