Dr Sanjogita Soodan has the distinction of achieving name and fame in the field of Sports Medicine at the International scene as Doctor in various sports disciplines, besides has the honour of being the 1st person from Asia who is qualified International Technical Official (ITO) in Boxing and has done Sports Conditioning Course from Budapest, Hungry. She is MBBS, MD with specialization in Sports Medicine, having the reputation of working with famed International ace boxers like Mary Kom, Sarita, Prity and Vijender to help them enhance their performances at the highest level. In a freewheeling chat with Excelsior Correspondent, Dr Soodan talked about her achievements, besides throwing light on the role of Sports Medicine in games and sports and about the affect of drugs and doping on sportspersons.
