KATRA, Sept 11: Police today arrested two drug peddlers, who were evading their arrest in NDPS case at Katra Police Station.
The arrested accused, identified as Shankar Chand of Reasi and Vijay Kumar of Thathakot Tehsil Mongri, Distt Udhampur, were involved in case FIR number . 31/2017 U/S 8/20 NDPS Act, already registered at Police Station Katra when four kilograms of Charas was recovered from IKON vehicle JK02R -2577 at Moori. Both the accused persons had managed to escaped from the spot and were evading their arrest since then.
The arrest has been made by SHO PS Katra Inspr Pardeep Gupta, assisted by SI Sanjeet Sharma, Incharge PP Kakryal, under the supervision of SDPO Katra Vivek Shekhar and ASP Katra Naresh Singh.
