2 arrested for tearing Modi’s posters

SAMBA, Nov 28: Bari Brahmna Police has arrested two youth late last night for tearing the posters and hoarding boards of BJP’s Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi who is visiting Jammu on December 1 to address the public rally.
The duo has been identified as Ravi Kumar, son of Kashmir Chand of village Bani in Kathua district and other as Zaffar Ahmed, son of Abdul Ghani of Reasi.
On receiving the information about the tearing of posters by the two youth a team of Bari Brahmna Police led by SHO Ajay Sharma reached the spot and caught them red handed. The police arrested them.
The duo is being questioned by the Police who tore the posters from Rahya Morh to Sarore on Jammu- Pathankote National Highway.
The BJP workers led by Party senior vice president Chander Parkash Ganga also visited the Police Station and demanded stern action against the duo.
Mr Ganga said that it reveals the frustration of both coalition partners NC and Congress with increasing popularity of Modi and overwhelming response to his rally by people of the State who have decided to make it an historic event.
