KISHTWAR, Apr 1: Police arrested two persons for smuggling bovine animals.
As per police sources, a team from Kishtwar police station laid a naka at Palmar and intercepted two persons carrying two bovine animals.
During questioning, it came to fore that the persons were carrying the bovine animals to Kashmir without permission.
Police arrested both the bovine animals’ smugglers, who have been identified as Ghulam Kunan, son of Rehman Rathar and Ghulam Mohammad, son of Ahmedo Lone, a resident of Dharna, Tehsil Marwah, District Kishtwar.
A case under FIR Number 51/17 under Section 188 RPC has been registered at Kishtwar police station and investigation started.
