JAMMU, Oct 10: Arnia police arrested two persons and recovered stolen vehicles from their possession.
As per police sources, during patrolling near Trewa Morh, a team from Arnia Police Station intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During questioning, it came to fore that both the persons are involved in vehicles lifting.
Police team arrested both the accused, who have been identified as Rohit Kumar alias Sofi, son of Tarsem Lal, a resident of Arnia Town and Vikram Choudhary alias Vicky, son of Krishan Lal, a resident of Kotli Changia Arnia.
On their disclosure, police recovered 4 stolen vehicles, which they had stolen from various areas of the Jammu District.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft cases.
Police team led by SHO Arnia Inspector Rajesh Khajuria and assisted by HC Mohammad Shabir made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Sourabh Prashar, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
