2 bikers injured in road accident

SAMBA, Aug 22: Two people were injured in a road accident near Sanura village in Samba after two motorcycles coming from opposite direction collided head on. The injured were brought to Ghagwal Hospital by the local people, where seeing the condition of one as critical, the doctor referred him to the Government Medical College Hospital Jammu for better treatment.
The accident took place when both the motorcycles JK02W-2056 and JK08B-3311 collided, with each other with the result both motorcyclists were injured. The injured have been identified as Rajan (34), son of Surinder Paul resident of Jandpir, Amritsar and the other Ashok Kumar, son of Lal Chand resident of Ramgarh Samba.
As the condition of Ashok Kumar was critical, he has been referred to Jammu. The police have registered a case and started further investigation in the matter.
