KATHUA, June 6: A dead body of woman was recovered from Ramlila Ground here today while another body of unidentified man was recovered from a canal in Hiranagar today.
The body of lady recovered from Ramlila Ground, here was identified as Geeta, wife of Parkash Chand of Ahmedabad Gujarat who were working as hawkers in Kathua for a long time. The lady had established her stall at Ramlila Ground where she was selling the clothes. The sudden heat stroke is stated to be the cause of her death.
The naked unidentified body found from the canal at Hiranagar has been kept in mortuary of SDH Hiranagar for identification, police said.
