JAMMU, Oct 7: Police have booked two persons for allegedly assaulting a salesman and snatching Rs 5000 from his possession in Gandhi Nagar area.
As per police sources, a salesman reported to police that two assailants attacked him and snatched Rs 5000 from his possession in Gandhi Nagar area.
Salesman identified as Rakesh Sharma of Shakti Nagar was going back to his shop after collecting money from other retailers, said police sources.
Rakesh Sharma alleged that two persons identified as Swaroop Gupta and Sunil Singh intercepted him and snatched Rs 5000 after attacking him.
Police registered a case and investigation into the case is going on.
