RAJOURI, Aug 2: Two persons were booked under preventive detention and one notorious criminal has been sent on judicial custody.
Thanamandi Police today booked two notorious criminals identified as Mohd Arif alias Kalia, son of Mohd Farooq of Khablan Thanamandi and Javid Iqbal, son of Mohd Ashraf of Banghai Thanamandi. They were involved in various thefts cases and receivers of stolen properties and drug peddling. They have been booked under sections 107, 110 and 151 CrPC and were sent to District Jail Dhangri by the order of Executive Magistrate Thanamandi under preventive detention for a period of one month.
One hardcore criminal namely Amjad Mahmood, son of Mohd Zaffar of Bada Kana Thanamandi involved in various thefts cases send to District Jail Dhangri on judicial custody after filing chargesheet against him in cases in the court of law.
