KATRA, Apr 27: Katra Police today arrested two bootleggers and seized 55 pouches of liquor from their possession.
A Police team, led by SHO Katra, Inspector Sanjeev Sharma, laid a special naka at Matyal Katra near Petrol Pump and recovered the liquor during checking there.
40 poly pouches of liquor were recovered from the possession of Lucky Sharma of Dayala Chack, Hiranagar and 15 pouches of liquor from the possession of Surinder Kumar of Matyal Katra.
Both the accused persons were arrested and recovered poly pouches of liquor were seized. In this connection, a case under Section 48-A Excise Act, 188/RPC has been registered at Police Station Katra.
