JAMMU, Dec 15: RS Pura police today rescued 2 bovine animals and arrested a smuggler.a
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from RS Pura Police Station led by SHO Surinder Khadyal laid a naka at Khambia and intercepted one Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK02AG-6199.
During checking, police recovered two bovine animals and arrested the driver of the vehicle, who has been identified as Gurmeet Singh, son of Thoru Ram of Rathana, RS Pura.
A case under FIR number 227/13 under Section 188 RPC, 3 PC Act has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
