Additional Superintendent Police Baramulla Mukesh Kakar said that the minors were traced by a special team of Kreeri police along with Army’s 52RR and 176 Bn CRPF after their parents lodged a missing report on 28 March at police station Chandoosa.
“Their identity will not be revealed to safeguard their future”, he said.
He added that they had been indoctrinated and influenced by false narratives. “To ensure quick and timely action, the police constituted a special team and with the help of the families, traced all the boys”, he said.
He said that both the boys were counselled and handed over to their parents.
