UDHAMPUR, Mar 22: Two brothers among four youth were injured when a car, they were travelling in, rolled down after colliding with a Tanker on the National Highway at Kud, here today.
The Maruti car ( JKO2AW-2646) was on its way from Patnitop towards Chenani when it was hit by the Tanker, bearing registration number JK02CA-2394 and coming from opposite direction. After being hit by the Tanker, car slipped into gorge resulting into injuries to its driver and three others in the vehicle. SHO Kud, Inspector Vishal Dogra reached the spot with the police team and shifted the injured persons to PHC Kud for treatment.
The injured were identified as Shubam (25), son of Girdhari Lal of Nowshra, his brother Rashiv (26), Nekal Sharma (23), son of Satish Kumar and Sarthik Sharma (22), son of Vijay Sharma, all residents of Jammu.
Condition of the injured persons was stated to be stable while a case in this connection has been registered at Police Station Kud.
