RAJOURI, Apr 27: Two cattle were charred to death and several injured as two sheds were damaged in separate fire incidents in Nowshera area of Rajouri today.
Official sources said that at about 1145 hrs today, suddenly fire broke out in the Kacha cattle- shed of one Ashraf, son of Gulzar Ahmed, resident of Ward No. 2 Nowshera. The cattle shed was totally burnt in the fire. A calf also burnt alive inside . The fire was extinguished/controlled by the locals of the area.
Meanwhile, at about 1345 hours today the fire broke out in the cattle- shed of one Fatima Bi, wife of Late Sher Mohd at village Kampla in Tehsil Qila Darhal under Nowshera, due to which one buffalo was charred to death on the spot and couple of other cattle sustained burn injuries.
The fire was controlled by the locals. Police party from Lam reached the spot and took cognizance.
