MENDHAR, Oct 20: Two children were hospitalized after they were allegedly beaten up by the teacher in a private school at Harni today.
Both the boys namely, Arwaz Khan of class 5 th, son of Imtiaz Ahmed Khan from Galuta and Rehan Khan ( Class 4 th), son of Shehnaz Khan were admitted to Sub District Hospital Mendhar by their parents. The parents alleged that while ear of one of the child was badly injured and it was bleeding the boy received injuries on the forehead as his head of struck against the wall by the teacher, Samiullah from Galuta, They are the students of Private school run by Public Education Trust, Harni. The parents have lodged an FIR against the teacher.
Later, there was a clash between the relatives of the injured students and teachers and family members of Samillah in which three persons received minor injuries due to stone pelting. SDPO Shahid Nahim rushed to the spot himself and controlled the situation. Mr Shahid said that counter FIRs have been lodged by both the parties and he was investigating the matter.
