SRINAGAR, July 16: Two persons ended their life after consuming poisonous substance.
A police spokesman said that Javid Ahmad Khan aged 21 years son of Habibullah resident of Balhama-Nadihal, Sopore committed suicide by hanging himself at his home. He was shifted to District Hospital Baramulla, where doctors declared him brought dead. A case has been registered in this regard.
He said that Naseer Ahmad Bhat aged 27 years son of Abdul Ahmad Bhat resident of Vilgam-Handwara consumed some poisonous substance at his home. He was shifted to the District Hospital, Kupwara but died on way to the hospital. A case has been registered in this regard.
Meanwhile, a boy identified as Mohammad Umar Malik age nine years son of Mohammad Amin resident of Malik Mohalla-Arwani, Bijbehara got drowned in Nallah Vaishoo while bathing near Arwani Bridge. The body was fished out and handed over to his relatives for last rites.
