2-day Hindi Writers’ Conference concludes

JAMMU, May 28: A 2-day Hindi Writers’ Conference which was being organized by the J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages concluded with rousing response. The second day of the conference consisted of four sessions.
The first session began with the paper reading session in which Prof Raj Kumar and Mrs Yogita Yadav read out their papers on the topics “Hindi Sahitya Aur Anuvad and Mukhyadhara Mein Pradeshik Hindi Kahani respectively. Dr P N Trisal, a senior Hindi writer, Prof Shiv Nirmohi and Prof Parvinder Kour, HoD PG Department of Hindi, University of Jammu were in the presidium.
In the second session those who presented their papers were Dr Pawan Chouhan from Himachal Pardesh and Vandana Thakur, scholar, PGD of Hindi on the topics- Hindi Bal Sahitya and Jammu Kashmir Ka Hindi Rangmanch respectively. In this session, Prof  R L Shant, Dr Nirmal Vinod and Satish Vimal were in the presidium.
In the third session,  short-stories in Hindi were read out by Prof R L Shant, Prof Kiran Bakshi, Asha Shaily from Himachal Pardesh, Gouri Shanker Raina from Delhi and Rajni Kumari, scholar, PGD of Hindi, University of Jammu whereas the presidium was graced by Prof Rita Jitendra, Dr Sanjana Koul and Dr Om Goswami.
In the last session, a dramatic presentation based on play Kharashen written  and compiled by famous film, TV and Theatre personality Salim Asad  and directed by Sh Bhupinder Jamwal was held
Azra Choudhary, Editor Hindi,  conducted the proceeding of the program.
On concluding session Kahani Manch, a theatrical performance based on the short stories of Gulzar and Sumeshwar Vasu was presented which was directed by Bhupinder Singh Jamwal, Choreographer, JKAACL, and the actors were  Madan Rangila, Gurmeet Batra Jamwal, Seema Bhatti, Vijay Goswami, Pardeep Sharma, Arya Veer Singh Jandraia, Neeraj Mangorta and Randheep Singh. This performace was compiled and dramatized by Salim Aarif, renowned film and theatre personality. This was J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages presentation.
