JAMMU : Two-day winter carnival today commenced at tourist destination Patnitop in Ramban district.
The carnival is being organised with an aim to attract maximum tourists and winter sports lovers to the picturesque destination of Patnitop, official spokesman here said.
He said on the first day of the carnival, winter sports activities like fun skiing, sledging, tug of war and snow man building were organized at Nathatop.
“Participants from both within and outside the state participated in the events,” he added.
The carnival is being organised by the Jammu and Kashmir Tourism Department in collaboration with Patnitop Development Authority. (AGENCIES)
