SRINAGAR, Nov 14: Two people lost their lives, and another was critically injured in a road accident that took place today near the Tengpora area along the Srinagar expressway bypass on NH-44.
The CCTV footage of the incident showed a Thar vehicle colliding head-on with a tipper truck that was parked on the roadside. The footage depicted the Thar crashing into the tipper, flipping over multiple times, and then hitting the road divider.
An official confirmed that the collision led to the immediate deaths of two individuals and left another severely injured.
The deceased were identified as Hammad from Lal Bazar and Azeem from Sanat Nagar. The injured person was identified as Mohammad Eissa Ganie from Nowshera.
Police have taken cognizance of the incident and initiated an investigation.
